About Voltaire
Built by claims people, AI engineers, and operators who know the letter is where decisions get tested.
Voltaire started with a specific claims problem: too much expert time was disappearing into policy lookup, template cleanup, and letter review. The company now supports claims organizations across the country with AI correspondence software built around human adjudication, source-backed language, and enterprise controls.
This is the team, operating philosophy, and customer proof behind the platform.

Built for the moment a claim decision becomes a letter
Voltaire started in 2023 when an independent adjuster and an AI engineer friend set out to automate claim letter generation. The problem was specific: too much claims time was being spent hunting policy language, copying language into templates, formatting letters, and checking whether the support for a coverage decision was actually in the file.
By 2024, Voltaire had generated tens of thousands of letters. That same year, the company onboarded a publicly traded carrier in the middle of CAT season and supported the operation through Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The team behind the correspondence workflow
Voltaire combines claims operators, customer success leaders, growth builders, operations owners, and technical architects who understand regulated workflows.

Easy for claim letters
A claims team lead reviewing Voltaire on Capterra called it “super easy to use for any type of claim letter” and noted that the team is quick to address issues.
Rollout matters
A VP of Claims described setup and rollout as “absolutely seamless” and highlighted customer support after 27 years in the insurance industry.
Policy language matters
An insurance adjuster wrote that Voltaire made denial letters easier by bringing over policy verbiage and keeping letters professionally formatted.
A company built around carrier reality
Voltaire works with carrier teams where software meets regulated claim operations: letter standards, review paths, security requirements, rollout realities, and the daily habits that determine whether a new workflow actually gets used.
Start with claims operators
Product decisions are grounded in adjuster, examiner, manager, counsel, and QA workflows, not generic document automation assumptions.
Fit the carrier’s standards
Implementation work centers on letter requirements, policy-language expectations, review paths, security review, and rollout realities.
Keep review visible
The team builds for human adjudication, clear source support, AI-generated-content review, and auditability because correspondence has to hold up later.
Support adoption
Customer success works beside claims teams on onboarding, training, issue triage, feature feedback, and daily operational follow-through.
Build for pressure
Voltaire was shaped by CAT-season rollout, independent-adjuster surge, and the practical need to help teams move faster without losing control.
Stay accountable
Trust, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices are treated as company operating requirements, not just procurement paperwork.
Built for regulated claims environments
Voltaire maintains a SOC 2 Type 2 audited security program and provides a Trust Center for security review. Infrastructure runs on AWS in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based, administrative access requires multi-factor authentication, and carrier data is not used to train AI models.
Claims Correspondence Compendium
Voltaire publishes the Claims Correspondence Compendium, a free public resource for claim letter compliance and drafting research across letter types, jurisdictions, and P&C lines.
The Compendium is an educational resource, not legal advice, and it does not replace carrier-specific compliance review or counsel.
Bring policy-grounded drafting into your claims workflow
If your team is spending too much time finding policy language, formatting letters, and reviewing preventable correspondence issues, Voltaire can show what a policy-grounded drafting workflow looks like on real claim scenarios.
